2. Tell your customers how to notify you of problems. Post your guarantees and warranties on your site along with instructions for problem resolution.

3. Improve customer service with better on-line communication. Establish long-term relationships with your visitors by an active exchange of information through a discussion group or forum.

4. Offer on-line training. Educate your customers, clients and prospects about your industry, products and services. Enhancing your relationship with your current customers will make them more satisfied customers.

5. Add a guestbook to get comments and suggestions. Read and acknowledge the suggestions.

6. Conduct surveys of your on-line customers. Use the survey information to track customer trends or requests.

7. Respond consistently and quickly to customer inquiries. Check your e-mail regularly.

8. Create a "Frequently Asked Questions" document and make it available from an autoresponder. Use the familiar "question and answer" format.

9. Give FREE advice. Encourage your visitors to ask you questions. Establishing your expertise is a good way to start a business relationship. You demonstrate credibility and develop a relationship based on trust.

10. Make friends! The Internet is a big place and can be very impersonal. People like to do business with friends.
